Thank you for visiting my personal fundraising page. I'm going to try and update my picture on here until the event...This gem of a selfie is from my cousins wedding in NJ. Now I mustache you to please read on...

My picture yesterday was my first trip to CA. I was in San Fransisco and saw that someone carved my name into the concrete while it was drying, so naturally I had to capture the moment. I mean, come one, how often does that happen?! And if I ever forget my name, that photo could be helpful. I digress... I was in my 1st year of grad school that year and working in foster care. I've been so lucky to gain such a broad range of experience working with children and families since starting my career in social work. Helping children heal and families gain confidence in their abilities truly is my passion in life. I feel so lucky to be able to do what I do...and I wouldn't be able to without agencies like Easter Seals.

So with that...on September22, 2018, I'm going Over The Edge for Easterseals Michigan programs and services! I'm excited to be a part of this event for the first time. I have recently joined the Easter Seals team and through them, I am able to connect with families in Kent County to provide much needed mental health services to children and families. Your donation will go towards helping fund programs like mine, so that we can continue to provide a variety services that reach those who need it the most...children. Any thing you can spare will help and no donation is too small.

Don't worry - I will be safe in a harness as I rappel down the 345 feet of the Plaza Towers in Grand Rapids, Michigan. There will be 59 other rappellers going down the building on the same day, and I'm hoping you will be able to support me as I fundraise for this great organization. My goal is to fundraise at least $1,500, but would love to surpass that goal! With your help, I know that I can do just that.

For nearly a century, Easterseals Michigan (ESM) has empowered extraordinary individuals to live more independent lives. Their story has evolved over time, but their purpose remains the same - Easter Seals Michigan serves and supports people with disabilities or special needs and their families so they can successfully live, learn, work and play in their communities.

Last year alone, ESM helped more than 11,000 people throughout the state of Michigan, and many of those could be your neighbors or friends. Easterseals programs and services touch many in our community, so thank you for your support!

All of the donations that I receive are going to support Easterseals Michigan programs and Services. Easterseals Michigan is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. More information can be found at www.eastersealsmichigan.com

Thank you for your generous support! See you at the bottom!

P.S.: If you know anyone who you think would like to help me reach my fundraising goal in this event, please share my page with them!
